Chairman Steve Wharton left hospital on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack 11 days ago. He is now at home and will require several months to recuperate. He has to undergo further tests but is expected to make a full recovery.

In the meantime it is business as usual at Glanford Park with Rex Garton as Acting Chairman, ably supported by Simon Elliott and Keith Wagstaff with further support from Associate Directors Jason Oxenforth and Mark Blackbourne.

Speaking after leaving hospital the Chairman said that he had a very lucky escape and couldn't speak too highly of the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Louth Hospital. "They were brilliant, however ill you are you can't feel down in such an uplifting atmosphere," he said.
