Have you ever wanted to be a reporter? As a Junior Iron - you have the chance to write about one of Scunthorpe's games and see it appear online next week.

Your match report of this weekend's game against Southampton could feature on www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk next week, as we invite Junior Iron members to write for us.

Who we judge to send in the best report will receive a signed photograph of their favourite player. Entrants must be 14 or under.

All you have to do is write your report for the weekend's game and send it with your name and age to ironworld@scunthorpe-united.co.uk within five days of the game finishing

To help you out, here are five top tips on how to write a match report:

1) Your aim is to describe the match to someone who hasn't seen it - so explain how each goal went in and how the best saves were made.

2) But besides the facts, give your opinion. Which players played well and which team deserved to win?

3) Try to explain how you and the rest of the fans felt whilst watching the match. Re-live the match while writing about it!

4) Make sure you get your statistics right - you don't want to get the score wrong or give a goal to the wrong player.

5) Read it through once you've finished. Check for spelling mistakes!
