Chelsea midfield man Jack Cork says he would relish a return to Glanford Park.

But he feels another season in the Championship, as opposed to League One, would be of greater benefit to his career.

The on-loan 18-year-old romped to five of the club's player of the year awards after a superb campaign with United, and became a massive favourite with supporters.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I'm sure something will happen this summer. They will either extend my contract or sell me.

"I want to stay, but ultimately it comes down to playing first-team football.

"I'm at the age where I want to get out there and make a name for myself.

"It would be ideal if that was at Liverpool, but we'll have to wait and see."
