Skipper Izzy Iriekpen is back in training for Scunthorpe United - but is not likely to be risked in tomorrow's game at Brighton. The 26-year-old defender had an injection last week to try to clear up a troublesome groin injury.

Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins is set to revert to his first-choice XI when his side travels to Brighton on Saturday for a league clash. Adkins rested Joe Murphy, Garry Thompson, Sam Togwell and Gary Hooper for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Notts County, but all four are likely to return at the Withdean Stadium.

Brighton will be without the versatile Adam Virgo after he bruised knee ligaments in the win over Northampton. Midfielder Steve Thomson (ankle) returns to the squad after missing the game at Sixfields. Club captain Izzy Iriekpen has returned to training but it is yet to be decided whether he will take part in the game.
