Iron captain Izzy Iriekpen says his team aren't feeling the pressure now they're fighting it out at the top of League One.

According to the 26-year-old former West Ham man, United's players aren't worried about the expectations placed on them.

"It's one thing getting up the top end of the table, but it's another thing staying there," Iriekpen told the Scunthorpe Telegraph

"It's still early - there's only eight games gone - so I don't think anyone is thinking about where we are in the table at the moment.

"People might be talking about us being up there, but we don't have to worry about that. We just have to worry about going out and winning every week.

"We stopped caring about what everyone thought at the start of the season when they didn't expect us to do anything."
