United manager Nigel Adkins says the pressure is all on Leicester City as his team head to the Walkers Stadium for their biggest match of the season so far.

It will be a dogged relegation tussle between two sides battling for Championship survival.

And the Iron know that a positive result would blow the fight against relegation wide open, and turn the screw on the Foxes.

"For Leicester City it is a must-win game," said Adkins, speaking in his pre-match press conference which is now showing on Iron World.

"They have 30,000 supporters there. They are a Premiership set-up with 40-odd professional players. They have spent an absolute fortune.

"Steven Howard, who they have brought in during the transfer window in January, cost £1.5-million.

"They have invested very, very heavily. It is a must-win game for them.

"The pressure is all on Leicester City. No-one gave us a chance at the start of the season.

"Everyone thought we would be down by Christmas - we were not.

"Everyone thought we would have the least amount of points in the history of the Championship - we have not.

"It has gone past Easter now and we are still in the race, and still fighting.

"You look at the clubs above us - you have got Leicester City, Sheffield Wednesday, Coventry and Southampton.

"One of those big clubs is going to get relegated I should imagine.

"They (Leicester) have got some very good football players. They are well-financed, and I know because I tried to get a few players on loan and we could not get anywhere near the wages - and these are for reserve team players.

"So it just shows how well we have done as a football club to be competing with, and being so close to, Leicester City."
