GRIMSBY TICKETS SELLING WELL
Posted on: Mon 06 Oct 2008
The Iron have already sold more than 2,000 tickets for Tuesday night's Johnstone Paint's Trophy home clash against Grimsby Town (7.30pm kick-off).
United have also, in conjunction with the Lincolnshire FA, contacted all Charter Standard schools and clubs in Lincolnshire and offered them the chance to take up complementary tickets to the game.
It's a competition which manager Nigel Adkins clearly intends to win, and the club are hopeful of having a decent gate turn out for a local derby against the Mariners.
As they did in the first round against Notts County, United have also drastically reduced admission prices for the match against the League Two outfit.
Entrance for adults is £10 seating and £8 standing with concessions for seniors and U21s charged at £5.
There will be no charge for U16s although a ticket must be collected in advance from the ticket office.
Juniors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Supporters using the seating areas will need to purchase a ticket in advance as there are no cash turnstiles.
The Grove Wharf Stand will be closed for the night.
